I was born in Penn State but I have spent most of my life in Ridgecrest. My family was stationed in Ridgecrest in 1993 (I was 6 years old), and I’ve been here ever since! I grew up with an equestrian background, which is where I learned that being physically fit would help with my riding abilities and even improve them.
As I grew older and out of the horse world, I became very active in small group fitness classes. This led me to the CrossFit world where I learned many of the lifting basics, and tried my hand at a few competitions. In 2013 I had a great friend from CrossFit talk me into summiting Mount Whitney, which is an adventure all in itself! Keeping that competitive spirt alive I have also completed two Tough Mudders and 5 half marathons between the years 2013-2016.
From all of this I learned that being a part of a strong group of people that have a passion for fitness with goals to improve their overall health and fitness is what made me happy and led me to become a group fitness instructor. I currently hold Precision Nutrition Level I Certificate in Exercise Nutrition and I am a certified PiYo LIVE Instructor. Whether you are looking for an intense small group class, just trying to get back into the swing of a good routine, or wanting to get ready for that upcoming event I am excited to help you meet your goals.
